Rapid Optics is an Australian owned and operated online business based in Sydney, NSW. We sell a range of networking-related equipment such as copper and optical fibre SFP and SFP+ transceivers, direct attach "twinax" cables and fibre patch leads.
Founded in 2015 by a network engineer with over ten years of experience in the industry, our team is proud to have the knowledge and skills to advise customers on our whole product range and support you with great before and after sales support. We are proud of our competitive pricing, quality reliable products and rapid turn-around times on order processing and shipping.
Online-only but with a pick up option for Sydney customers
We are an online business and do not have a physical store.
For Sydney customers, we offer an online-order pick-up option courtesy of a partnering company in Ultimo, NSW. Customers choosing to pick up their order will be sent details of the collection point and order readiness upon placing an order.
Same day shipping with tracking information provided. Fast delivery, Australia-wide
Same day postage via Australia Post Express (default option) or StarTrack Premium for orders placed before 2 p.m. Sydney time, Monday - Friday. Our courier shipping option provides next-day delivery to most metro areas.
After ordering with Rapid Optics, you will receive an email once your order is being processed and when it has been shipped. Our national courier shipping option provides order tracking information throughout the entire process from pickup to delivery. Australia Post Express Post shipping is also available but only includes tracking only at the destination post office onwards. A new national courier option will be coming soon, stay tuned.
Same day courier delivery and pick up options are available for Sydney CBD/inner-city customers. The order cutoff for same day CBD delivery is 12pm, but please contact us if you have really urgent requirements.
Same day shipping may not be possible for orders sent via Purchase Order, customised or specialised orders sent via a formal quote/invoice, and for orders for which our system indicates that we do not have sufficient stock.
